It's Monday again. The alarm has gone and I drag myself from my bed. Arrg, why did I stay up so late last night?
Well, the weekend was so fun that I was still enjoying it way past my bedtime, completely in denial of the approaching Monday morning rush!
So, this morning as my family and I rushed around the house getting ready for work, school, or housework...;) I could not help see that we were dragging our feet a little. Time to rid ourselves of the dreaded 'Monday-itis'.
To brighten my family's day, I simply turned on the stereo to some happy music and watched the atmosphere change. You have to try this, it really works. Before long there was a 'bop' in everyone's step - even if it was still rushed out the door.
I also could not help place some 'happy' and 'bright' paper, as a liner, in lunch boxes for a burst of cheerfulness at lunch. Such an easy idea, and my little Miss 5 loved it, as I was told with excitement when she got home later in the day.
